The Friend of Patapsco Valley State Park is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that operates under an affiliate agreement with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.

Our offices are at Patapsco Valley State Park Headquarters, located at 8020 Baltimore National Pike, Ellicott City Md. 21043.

Founded in 1997, FPVSP supports Patapsco Valley State Park by fostering stewardship through educational programming, sustainable recreation, and the preservation and restoration of the park’s natural resources. As an affiliate organization of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, FPVSP serves as the official nonprofit partner of Patapsco Valley State Park.
